Integrity and Qualifying For Enrollment
At CeI we are very selective as to whom we enroll in our program. We have a GREAT list of individuals and client companies and our plans are to keep the list growing.
We know from painful experience that while everyone should be able to achieve success using our tools, concepts, processes and procedures, some will not. It would not be fair or just to enroll them and it would not be fair or just to their suspects and prospects.
At the root of our selection criteria is the concept of:
"Integrity"
At CeI we have three levels of Integrity Checking; individuals, products/services and organizations.
First, the individuals we enroll must have integrity.
That is they must be honest, truthful and possess a sense of values that include:
Second, their products and services must have integrity.
There are lighting systems that profess to save the customer large sums of money while insignificantly reducing illumination. According to the chief engineer of one such company, that statement, still on their website, is just not accurate.
There are supplements that are on the market that are supposed to improve the immune system, reduce inflammation and improve the customer's sense of well being and energy. When the products were tested by consumers, less than 30% experienced any benefits. The products were found to be:
There is day trading. The minimum investment capital one must possess is $25,000. The idea is to watch the stock market closely, trade a stock that has dramatic movement (up or down) and sell it while the market is still open, making a return on the margin. To quote Wikipedia:
1. "In March, 2000,
the bubble burst and a large number of traders began to lose money".
2. "The NASDAQ crashed from 5000 back to 1200; many of the less-experienced
traders went broke".
There are still schools that profess to provide training that will assure success in day trading. They make money on their training and on trading commissions. They apparently do not care about their clients, only about how much they can make selling their clients training, renting their facilities to clients and getting their clients to make trades all day long, every day the markets are open. This assertion is underlined by the July 29, 1999 murder of nine people at day trading facilities in Atlanta when a day trader went berserk.
At Cannon eInstitute we will verify assertions and reject any individual or organization we find selling any product or service that does not meet the written representations and the representations contained in the scripts proffered.
Finally, the company or organization must have integrity.
There are multilevel marketing companies that focus on enrolling without regard for the success of those they enroll. These companies employ a "pyramid" process to sell the "business opportunity" while misrepresenting the true benefits of the questionable products or services sold to the end consumer. In fact, they:
You can usually spot these organizations because more than half of the product or service cost is distributed as commissions and they have few, if any, testimonials and references from reputable end users/consumers. There is a real estate scam that comes under this heading and should be avoided.
There are conventional companies that hire on commission only. These companies:
1. Advertise their "opportunity"
implying large income from commissions on new customer enrolled. Usually the
commissions are paid only on business generated during the first year of enrollment.
Thereafter, the company does not share profits, meaning the sales person must
be constantly generate new business.
2. Provide ineffective legacy sales training including cold calling, neighborhood
canvassing and "closing" the sale. Ineffective techniques designed
to burn out the sales person while building the company's prospect and customer
data base.
These companies know it takes time to build a sales practice (book of business) and that the sales people they hire will burn out, leaving the company with the enrolled customers and the sales people financially deprived.
I consider being offered a commission only position as the ultimate insult to a sales professional and companies that employ this practice as attempting to build their business on the sales person's investment of time, energy and money. I believe that ALL companies offering new sales positions should be required to pay a "cost of living" salary for at least the first six months.
Again, Cannon eInstitute reserves the right to reject any individual or an entire organization that proffers pyramid type opportunities, fails to provide adequate customer services, extorts time and investments from desparate individuals seeking income to satisfy their financial obligations or fails to provide a full refund when their products or services fail to provide the benefits advertised or represented.
In summary, CeI will not enroll individuals or corporations that fail our "Integrity Test".
While there is never a guarantee, we know, from experience, that companies and individuals with integrity who are selling products and services with integrity will succeed using the CeI tools, concepts, processes and procedures. Those who don't, wont and for this reason will not be enrolled.
If an individual or organization
slips through our screening process and is enrolled and then found to lack
integrity (individually, as an organization or in product quality and functionality),
that individual or organization can be suspended or expelled without a refund
of tuition paid.
Our tools, concepts, processes and procedures are just too powerful to be in the wrong hands!
